How long you known each other?
Michelle and I go back to 1989, when she came home from the hospital and became my first playmate, roommate, and friend. Over the course of 25 years, we have shared everything from American Girl dolls and a bed, to shared loves in travel, social justice, and the East Coast.
What do you admire most about her?
My sister is one of the funniest people I know. She can make me laugh until I cry. She also gives the best advice.
Michelle is an incredibly strong woman, and has a bravery and resilience about her that I admire very much.
Ellen Garibaldi

How long have you known each other?
I met Ellen during our freshmen year of high school in religion class and we have been friends ever since. We've shared a carpool, a hundred mixed CDs, many a starbucks pumpkin scone, and even international trips together.
What do you admire most about her?
Ellen is an incredibly loyal friend. She is always there to help the people around her, and to make their days better. No matter the distance between us, she has been there for me in my best and worst times.
Fun Facts About Ellen:
Ellen is currently in her third year at Chapman University for an Ed.S. in School Psychology. Ellen loves Art History, has traveled all over the world, and makes the best mixed CDs I've ever heard.

Michelle is currently working toward her Master's in Social Work at Fordham University in New York City. She is a nanny, a talented photographer, and a graduate of AmeriCorps.

Mary Kate is a senior in high school at the same school where Kristina is working as a first-year teacher! MK is a dedicated yogi and makes some mean garlic marinara sauce.

How long have you known each other?
MK was born in 1997, and has brought great joy, spirit, and energy to our family ever since! We are exactly ten years apart, so some of my fondest memories of Mary Kate are from when she was a spunky little kid.
What do you admire most about her?
Mary Kate is one of the most positive people I've ever met. She sees the world through rose-colored glasses, and brings out the best in just about everyone she meets. She also remains easy-going while being of the most intelligent and hard-working students I've ever met!

Fun Facts About Patrick:
Patrick is a senior at the University of San Francisco, studying Marketing. He is going to be a college graduate in May 2015! He should probably work for Apple, because he is very gifted when it comes to technology.
Patrick Simes
Relationship: brother of bride
How long have you known each other?
Patrick is 6 years younger than me. He was an extremely energetic child, and as an adult, he still livens up our dinner-table conversations and knows how to make all of us smile. I am so grateful to have a brother, especially one as fun and loyal as Pat is.
What do you admire most about him?
Pat spends his summers volunteering at Camp Recreation, where he works with severly disabled individuals. He has an incredibly compassionate heart and cares deeply about the campers.
(He also knows to solve basically any technical difficulty I ever have.)

Fun Facts About Julie:
Julie is a nurse in the Orange County area and always has a good story to share about the people she encounters. Julie is also a talented athlete and singer.
Julie Nisco

How long have you known each other?
Julie and I have been close since she was born! We played many a game of charades at our Nana and Papa's house, formed our own secret club underneath their staircase with Michelle, and had countless sleepovers throughout our childhood years. I am so lucky to have had her as a cousin and a friend my whole life!
What do you admire most about her?
Julie has many talents. One of the reasons why she is good at so many things is because whatever Julie does, she puts her heart into 100%. I admire her determination and perseverance. She is also someone who is ALWAYS fun to be around!

Adelle is a teacher, and her students are very lucky to have her! She is also a gifted artist, really good at dancing, and she still helps me clean my messy room, even though I'm 27...
Adelle Domenici

How long have you known each other?
Adelle and I met when I was in 8th grade and she was in 7th. We shared many sleepovers, Disneyland trips, camping trips, and even ballet classes in our younger years. We have been friends ever since!
What do you admire most about her?
Adelle is a kind and gentle person who sees the best in others. Her presence is always comforting and warm. I admire how peaceful she is, and how truly kind she is to everyone she meets.

Fun Facts About Christie:
Christie currently works for JVC Northwest in Portland, OR. She loves riding her bike and hiking, and she has made some of the most creative handmade Christmas gifts I've ever seen.
Christie Costello
Relationship: friend of bride
How long have you known each other?
Christie and I met running cross-country at Mater Dei the summer before our freshmen year. We have been friends since then. In high school, we shared a lot of notes, music, and celebrity crushes. After college, we both entered the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, and as adults it has been wonderful to share our passion for faith, peace, and justice.
What do you admire most about her?
Christie is creative, artistic, and always inspires me in some way after I talk to her. Our conversations tend to make me think long after they over. She is one of my oldest friends, and she even flew to CA just to spend a weekend so she could get to know Ryan better.
